Fred Figglehorn’s DANCING SQUIRREL-DOGS (Call it a Day) – Original, Recorded 1970
This is the 1st of the ‘TK’ tapes which I recorded, back in 1970, on a Grundig TK18 valve-powered reel-to-reel tape-recorder. It was requested by Bill Redhead, who played the harmonica on it and hasn’t heard it since the night it was recorded – just the odd 38 years ago. Happy to oblige. We were 17 or 18 at the time & the Friday/Saturday night plan was to pile into my bedroom & play some music! Sometimes we had two guitars and a snare drum on the go. My poor parents and neighbours. On this track I play a rather ‘plankular’ EKO jumbo-acoustic six-string , Bill plays a Hohner chromatic harmonica. This is the first of the ‘TK’ tapes which were recorded on a Grundig TK18 reel-to-reel which still works perfectly. The chimes from the church clock tell me that it was just after 10 in the evening. Summer or winter . .I’ve no idea. And the sub-title? Well, that came about when my long-suffering father came in, around midnight, and said, “I think you’d better call it a day, lads.” – so we did! Guitar part composed & performed by Stuart Fretwell. Harmonica part composed & performed by Bill Redhead. Pro Wrestler?!? Yes you heard right, in 2004 at the young age of 17 Shane entered the Pro Wrestling world as the wild surfer character “RIP MALIBU” and by 2005 he was voted “Rookie of the Year” in the state of Florida being featured in Magazines, newspapers, etc. His charisma and energy which rooted back to Improv training at an early age really stood out in the Pro Wrestling world, so much in fact that in 2006 Shane decided to hang up the wrestling boots and pursue a career in Acting/Comedy. Soon after stepping away from Pro Wrestling full time Shane began doing online sketch comedy work as part of a Comedy group he started known as “Wooden Steel Production” which has generated over 2000000 web views worldwide! Shane’s work online has stood out so much that it has gotten him appearances in Newspapers, News Channels, Radio Shows and in talks with shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and TRL on MTV. Also in 2007, his sketches were going to be featured in a new NBC show hosted by Carson Daly called “It’s Your Show TV”. Though the show never took off, that didn’t stop Shane in his path. A year later in 2007 Shane entered a nationwide acting contest held by CBS called “BIG SHOT LIVE” and won! He was flown to Los Angeles and filmed a webisode for their series. In 2008 …

Sam P. Whitehead 2006-07 Theatrical Acting Reel (3 minutes)
New # 310-261-3674 Theatrical Acting Reel 2006-07 for Sam P. Whitehead (longer version – 3 minutes) sampwhitehead@yahoo.com sam p. whitehead chickenhow productions films From Wikipedia: Motion picture terminology It is traditional to discuss the length of theatrical motion pictures in terms of “reels.” The standard length of a 35 mm motion picture reel is 1000 feet (300 m). This length runs approximately 11 minutes at sound speed (24 frames per second) and slightly longer at silent movie speed (which may vary from approximately 16 to 18 frames per second). Most films have visible cues which mark the end of the reel. This allows projectionists running reel-to-reel to change-over to the next reel on the other projector. A so-called “two-reeler” would have run about 20-24 minutes since the actual short film shipped to a movie theater for exhibition may have had slightly less (but rarely more) than 1000 feet (300 m) on it. Most projectionists today use the term “reel” when referring to a 2000-foot (610 m) “two-reeler,” as modern films are rarely shipped by single 1000-foot (300 m) reels. A standard Hollywood movie averages about five 2000-foot (610 m) reels in length. The “reel” was established as a standard measurement because of considerations in printing motion picture film at a film laboratory, for shipping (especially the film case sizes) and for the size of the physical film magazine attached to the motion picture projector. Had it not been standardized (at 1000 feet …
