Demo of my AEG K8 Magnetophon playing Flat Foot Sam by Elmon Mickle (a very rare Elko blues 45rpm by the way). This rare machine is in great working order and uses German Telefunken vacuum tubes (EF12, EF14 etc.). It runs at 76cm/s (30ips) and is full track mono. I’m looking for old AEG Magnetophon machines, if you have one please let me know.

My trusty old 760 being tested prior to being sold.

I am selling this machine on the behalf of a friend, the recorder is in amazing condition and sounds fantastic, if I was not so limited for space (And didnt have two already) I woul love to keep this but sadly I cant. The recorder has had new bearings and generally overhauled, it can be seen from the video just hou well this machine responds to the input signals.

Thought I would make a new video, after 30 minuets the recorder went up in smoke!
